Finding Light in Times of Darkness
Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues or a major life transition? Do you feel like you’re suffering alone while you see your peers moving forward in their careers and relationships? We’ve all been there. There are times in life when we all feel overwhelmed or stuck and unsure of our next steps.
There is hope.
Ironically, it is during challenging times such as these when you may be afforded the greatest opportunity for growth, transformation and healing. If you could use some guidance getting back on track, it may be that your path to healing begins here. Perhaps I can help.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
—Carl Rogers
About Sarita Redalia
California Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
Hi, I’m Sarita Redalia. With 20+ years experience as a therapist, I work to help people understand and appreciate themselves on a deeper level while navigating life’s inherent challenges. I am gratified to support people to face their fears, derive meaning from their struggles and ultimately experience more fulfillment in life.
I am available to provide therapy in-person at my Union Street office in San Francisco, or online to individuals who reside within the state of California. If you would like to make an appointment for therapy or have questions, I welcome you to contact me to schedule an initial telephone consultation. I look forward to hearing from you and learning how I may be of help.
How We Will Work Together
As your therapist, I'll ask you questions that invite you to explore your own emotional and psychic terrain. I can guide you through territory which may have been too challenging to move through on your own. By examining current patterns of thought and behavior and reflecting on your past, we can reveal unconsciously held beliefs that may be holding you back. Insight leads to awareness, providing the foundation for lasting change.
My approach
People come to therapy for a variety of reasons. Perhaps there is a part of yourself that you find hard to accept. This may have you waging a war against yourself and exhausted by the battle. Together we can shed light on these divided factions, creating a more cohesive sense of self. By integrating these parts of yourself, you can begin to defuse the war, find increased self-acceptance and feel more at peace.
