Fees and Insurance

Please contact me for my current fee. My rates are competitive and in line with other therapists in the San Francisco Bay Area. I offer a free twenty-minute telephone consultation to answer questions you may have about starting therapy. I offer reduced rates under certain circumstances. If financial limitations are an obstacle to our working together, I will do my best to provide you with an appropriate referral. I accept payment by cash, check, Zelle, PayPal or Venmo. Payment is due at the time of service.
Out-of-Network
If you wish to use your health insurance to cover the cost of therapy, please inform me of this when you first contact me. I am accepted as an "out-of network" provider for most PPO insurance plans. Your plan may reimburse you in full or in part for therapy with an out-of-network provider. I can provide you with quarterly insurance statements to submit to your carrier for reimbursement. Please call your insurance carrier directly to learn about their policies for working with out-of-network providers.

Cancellation Policy
I appreciate receiving as much advance notice as possible for cancellations and rescheduling. I ask for a minimum of twenty-four hours advance notice when you know you will miss or need to reschedule an appointment. I charge the full fee if you provide less than twenty-four hours notice. Insurance generally does not reimburse for missed sessions, so clients using their insurance will be required to pay for sessions cancelled without sufficient notice.
