Help With Relationship

Are you going through a separation or a divorce and finding yourself single again?

Are you repeating the same relationship patterns over and over again?

Wondering why it seems so easy for everyone else?

You are not alone.

For many of us, relationships are one of the most meaningful parts of our lives and as such, the stakes are very high. Relationships have the unique capacity to be the source of our deepest fulfillment as well as painful frustration. The ability to have successful relationships is not an inborn skill, and most of us have experienced a failed relationship at one time or another. If you're feeling hopeless about your ability to make meaningful connection within the sphere of intimacy and relationship, the good news is you can learn the skills you need.

Individual Relationship Therapy

Whether you are in an intimate relationship now or perhaps just hope to be in the future, through individual relationship therapy, I can provide you the unique opportunity to address your intimacy and relationship concerns within a safe environment. I specialize in depth psychotherapy with individual adults in my practice. While I do not work with couples in my practice, I have a special interest in working with relationship issues within the context of individual therapy.  In my work with you, I can support you to:
  • Set and maintain healthy boundaries with your partner
  • Communicate your needs more effectively
  • Understand your relationship to conflict and getting needs met
  • Learn to regulate your emotions - your vulnerability, overwhelm, or anger
  • Work through relationship injuries and learn tools for repair
  • Navigate major relationship transitions such as marriage, separation and divorce
  • Identify and address obstacles to intimacy for you or your partner
  • Balance alone time with time spent together
  • Address obstacles to intimate connection and increase your capacity for vulnerability
  • Develop more compassion and understanding for yourself and your partner
  • Frame your relationship as a vehicle for personal growth
