Helpful INFOrmation for prospective clients

Starting therapy often brings up a few questions. Here’s some practical information to give you a sense of what working together might look like.

  • Meeting Options: I offer both in-person sessions at my Union Street office in Cow Hollow and online therapy for clients located anywhere in California.

  • Session Format: Standard sessions are 50 minutes long and are typically scheduled once per week.

  • Deeper Work: Longer or more frequent sessions can be arranged for those seeking more intensive support.

  • Getting in Touch: You’re welcome to leave a confidential voicemail at any time. I personally return all messages as soon as I’m able, usually within 1-2 business days.

  • Fees: I’m a private-pay provider and don’t take insurance, but I can provide a quarterly superbill for out-of-network reimbursement. I occasionally have a few lower-fee slots - feel free to ask about availability. I’m happy to talk about fees and financial expectations during our initial conversation.

  • First Steps: If you’re wondering whether we might be a good fit, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to answer any initial questions or schedule a brief phone consultation.

How I work

I help clients explore early experiences, make sense of what shaped them, and build a stronger sense of safety, and self-worth.

I incorporate mindfulness, self-compassion, and inner critic work to ease painful patterns and foster genuine self-acceptance.

I support clients in creating space for insight, growth, and a more compassionate way of being with themselves. This process can open the door to new ways of connecting - with themselves, with others, and with the world around them.

At the core is a trusting therapeutic relationship - an attuned presence that invites depth, fosters safety, and nurtures new meaning as the work unfolds.
