Working Through Perfectionism, Creative Blocks, and Burnout
Welcome
You’ve accomplished a lot, but inside, you’re running on empty
The pressure to keep performing, producing, or holding it all together can leave you feeling hollow, disconnected, or stuck in self-criticism. Even when things look fine on the outside, it might feel like you’re always falling short on the inside - never quite doing enough - never fully at ease. Perfectionism can be a quiet but unrelenting voice, pushing you to achieve more while making it hard to rest or feel good about yourself. And when your creative energy dries up or the exhaustion never fully subsides, it can be hard to know where to turn.
When Rest Isn’t Restful
At times, even when you try to slow down, your mind might still be racing - cycling through to-do lists, self-doubt, or creative blocks that won’t budge. You might find it hard to relax without guilt, or feel like your worth is tied to how much you get done. Over time, this kind of pressure can leave you feeling disconnected from yourself and the things that once brought you joy.
Perfectionism can show up as tension in your body, second-guessing your choices, or feeling like nothing you do is ever quite good enough. It’s exhausting. Together, we can explore where those patterns came from and how they’ve been trying to keep you safe - so you can begin to let go of beliefs that no longer serve.
Making Room For What Matters
Sarita Redalia Psychotherapy offers a place to set down what’s been heavy and reconnect with parts of you that have gone quiet under pressure. Here, you don’t have to perform, produce, or figure it all out. Our work moves at your pace, making space for the complexity beneath the surface - grief, frustration, longing, or the simple desire to feel like yourself again.
When you stop chasing a moving target, there’s more space to notice what truly matters. In therapy, we’ll slow the pace and listen to the quieter parts of you - the parts that want rest, freedom, and a more authentic way of being.Together, we’ll begin to untangle the patterns that keep you struck in overdrive, so there’s room for relief and a more grounded connection to your creative and emotional life.
You don’t have to keep pushing through or figuring it out on your own. If something in you is ready to begin, I’m here to meet you where you are, with curiosity, compassion, and respect for the pace that feels right for you.
