depth Therapy in bernal heights

Working Through restlessness, invisibility, and uncertainty

Welcome

space to come home to yourself

Life in Bernal Heights has it’s own kind of rhythm—tree-lined streets, glimpses of the bay, a creative hum that runs just beneath the surface. And yet, for many people here, that cheery veneer can feel misleading. Inside, something may be stirring: a vague restlessness, a sense of being emotionally unseen, or a quiet uncertainty about what’s next.

Maybe you’re going through the motions, but feeling disconnected from your own life. You might be holding it all together on the outside—at work, in your family, in your friendships—while inwardly wondering, Is this it? Or perhaps you’ve reached a point where the old ways of coping aren’t working anymore, and the questions that once felt optional now feel urgent.

Depth therapy offers a space to slow down and listen—gently, curiously, without needing to “have it all figured out.” It’s an invitation to explore what’s underneath, and to build a more honest, compassionate relationship with yourself.

Working through restlessness, invisibility and uncertainty

Restlessness can show up as a subtle agitation or a gnawing sense that something’s missing—even when everything seems fine on paper. You may feel pulled in many directions, busy, yet unsatisfied, constantly reaching for something just out of reach.

Invisibility often emerges in roles where you’re giving a lot—parenting, caregiving, showing up for others—but not feeling fully seen or known yourself. You may struggle to name your own needs, or feel like your inner life has been eclipsed by everything you’re managing.

Uncertainty might take the form of self-doubt, or a deeper questioning of identity, purpose, or belonging. These aren’t just passing thoughts—they’re signals from a part of you that wants to be met with care rather than pushed away.

Depth therapy invites us to sit with these experiences instead of overriding them. They’re not signs that something is wrong with you. They’re invitations to know yourself more deeply.

a slow, compassionate unfolding

This work isn’t about fixing or optimizing—it’s about softening into honesty. Depth therapy honors the layers of your story, including the parts that feel vulnerable, or hard to name. Together, we’ll listen for the patterns and protective strategies that once served you but may no longer fit. As your relationship with yourself deepens, it becomes easier to navigate life with more steadiness and self-trust.

A place to come back to yourself

In a neighborhood like Bernal Heights—where where creativity, activism, and quiet longing often coexist—it’s not unusual to crave something deeper than quick solutions. If you’re sensing a shift inside, or feeling the weight of restlessness, invisibility, or uncertainty, depth therapy can offer a place to land. You don’t have to navigate it alone. This work is gentle, collaborative, and attuned to your pace. I’d be honored to sit with you to explore what’s ready to emerge.
